Sanitary gaskets are used widely in the food, dairy, beverage, biotech, pharmaceutical, and all other sanitary Process industries to seal clamp connections in sanitary pipe lines. Flanged sanitary gaskets are manufactured with flanges to aid in installation. Silicone gaskets offer an economical choice with a wide working temperature (-58°F - 400°F). They are a platinum cured material that meets USP 87, 88 Class VI and USP 87, 88 CLASS VI, 3A. Silicone is almost an industry default and offers very low extractables (leaching characteristics).
